Founded in 2020 by payment experts John Lunn, Ali Minaei, and Cristiano Betta, Gr4vy is a no-code payment orchestration platform. It empowers enterprises with full control to automate, customize, and optimize their payment strategy effortlessly. The platform provides a scalable, redundant, and no-code solution, enabling businesses to personalize offerings and quickly access over 400 payment methods, service providers, and anti-fraud providers worldwide through a single, universal integration.
Gr4vy wanted to elevate its presence and establish thought leadership within the UK and US payment technology sectors. The core challenge involved boosting brand awareness and effectively showcasing its innovative approach and customer successes. The goal was to solidify Gr4vy's position as a leader in payment innovation, addressing key challenges in the evolving payments landscape by highlighting its flexible, cloud-native payment orchestration platform.
Competitors cultivated certain visibility in English-speaking media, particularly in trade publications. While some maintained regular media activity, there were clear gaps in their strategies, with inconsistent efforts or reliance on reactive approaches.
Gr4vy established credibility through previous coverage in prominent outlets such as TechCrunch and PYMNTS, providing a solid foundation. However, their media activities were sparse, indicating a need for more consistent outreach. Gr4vy's CEO, John Lunn, brought notable authority, providing a valuable opportunity to enhance visibility and position Gr4vy as a leading voice in payment orchestration. Through a strategic and targeted approach, PRLab helped solidify Gr4vy’s standing in an increasingly competitive landscape.
PRLab’s content strategy for Gr4vy focused on identifying key industry themes and turning them into compelling pitching angles. From there, we developed content anchored in Gr4vy’s core messages, highlighting its no-code, cloud-native platform and PSP-agnostic flexibility. This approach ensured all content was timely, relevant, and positioned Gr4vy as a thought leader tackling real industry challenges.
PRLab’s press release strategy significantly boosted Gr4vy’s brand awareness through consistent, targeted monthly outreach. In March 2025, for example, the “Trek Chooses Gr4vy” announcement was picked up by 23 publications (26 including incidental coverage), driving strong visibility. In June, the “Grammarly Selects Gr4vy” release achieved similar reach, landing coverage in 23 outlets including top-tier payments media such as The Paypers and Finextra. This steady cadence of high-impact announcements around key partnerships and product developments played a critical role in amplifying Gr4vy’s visibility and reinforcing its position as a leader in payment orchestration.
PRLab secured interviews that significantly advanced Gr4vy’s media presence. One feature, titled “How one startup coordinates your payments,” appeared in Payments Dive (with over 80,000 monthly visitors) and was syndicated on Yahoo Finance, reaching more than 150 million global readers. This coverage positioned Gr4vy as an established voice in the payment orchestration space. Additionally, another interview was featured in Startup Reporter. These strategic placements highlighted Gr4vy’s expertise, built credibility, and reinforced its presence in the industry through respected media outlets.
